Terms of Service.
Legal terms governing access to and use of the IONZE materials intelligence platform, in-silico surrogate inference models, DFT simulations, and electrochemical curve analyzers operated by QuantaLabs Private Limited.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether individually or on behalf of an institution, research laboratory, or commercial enterprise ("User", "you"), and QuantaLabs Private Limited ("QuantaLabs", "IONZE", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and utilization of the website, APIs, surrogate inference algorithms, data portals, and computational engines located at ionze.xyz (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing, browsing, evaluating, or executing computational models on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and irrevocably agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you are expressly prohibited from using the Platform and must immediately discontinue access.
2. Scope of Services & In-Silico Nature
IONZE is an advanced deep-tech materials discovery platform dedicated to sodium-ion battery active materials (specifically hard carbon anodes). Services include:
- Machine learning surrogate models estimating reversible specific capacity (mAh/g), Initial Coulombic Efficiency (ICE %), and plateau ratios.
- Atmospheric pyrolysis window optimization (900°C to 1500°C under argon or inert atmospheres).
- Atomistic Density Functional Theory (DFT-D3 / Quantum ESPRESSO) visualization and interlayer spacing (d₀₀₂) benchmarks.
- Electrochemical galvanostatic charge-discharge and differential capacity (dQ/dV) curve deconvolution.
- Curated bibliographic databases indexing peer-reviewed literature records.
3. Scientific Approximations & "As-Is" Disclaimer
MANDATORY RESEARCH BENCHMARK NOTICE:
THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING ALL AI INFERENCE MODELS, PROPERTY PREDICTIONS, SIMULATED SYNTHESIS PROFILES, VOLTAGE CURVES, AND SURROGATE PREDICTIONS, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
Surrogate models and atomistic simulations inherently operate through statistical approximations, mathematical interpolations, and theoretical quantum physics calculated under idealized vacuum conditions. Historical literature data encompasses significant between-laboratory variance in cell assembly, coin-cell fabrication, electrolyte composition, and temperature measurement.
QuantaLabs Private Limited makes no representation, guarantee, or warranty, whether express or implied, regarding the factual accuracy, physical reproducibility, chemical stability, cyclic durability, or commercial manufacturing yields of any material, precursor, or synthesis ramp computed by the Platform. Empirical laboratory validation is mandatory and performed solely at the User's own independent discretion.
4. Exclusion of Liability for Physical Synthesis Hazards
Battery materials synthesis, high-temperature thermal pyrolysis (900°C to 1500°C), inert gas purge procedures, chemical demineralization, acid leaching, metallic sodium handling, and coin/pouch cell assembly involve severe physical, thermal, chemical, electrical, and explosive hazards.
You expressly understand and acknowledge that:
- You assume 100% of the operational risk, liability, and safety compliance associated with physical wet-lab replication, furnace ramps, autoclave hydrothermals, and electrochemical testing.
- Under no circumstances shall QuantaLabs Private Limited, its directors, researchers, developers, or affiliates be liable for any personal injury, chemical burns, furnace damage, thermal runaway, cell combustion, laboratory property damage, or environmental contamination resulting from tests conducted on parameters derived from the Platform.
5. Intellectual Property Rights & Data Ownership
Platform Intellectual Property:
All software, proprietary surrogate algorithms, trained neural model weights, feature transformations, DFT integration pipelines, graphic interfaces, logos ("IONZE", "QuantaLabs"), and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of QuantaLabs Private Limited, protected by Indian and international copyright, patent, and trade secret laws.
User Data Ownership:
You retain complete, unencumbered intellectual property ownership over your raw input files, proprietary battery cycler curves (.mpt, .csv from BioLogic, Arbin, Neware), and confidential precursor chemical formulations uploaded to the Platform.
No Model Training on Private Data:
QuantaLabs guarantees that your proprietary cycler files and enterprise formulation inputs are strictly isolated and are never used to train or fine-tune public foundation models without your prior, explicit, written contractual consent.
6. Acceptable Use & Chemical Security Restrictions
You agree not to utilize the Platform to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary model weights or surrogate architectures.
- Deploy automated bots, crawlers, or scrapers to extract the 141-paper bibliographic literature database.
- Formulate, optimize, or synthesize chemical weapons, controlled narcotics, explosive compounds, or any substances restricted under international export control treaties or Indian law.
- Exceed authorized API rate limits or introduce malicious code, denial-of-service traffic, or corrupted cycler payloads.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL QUANTALABS PRIVATE LIMITED, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, CELL ASSEMBLY FAILURES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE PLATFORM.
IN ALL EVENTS, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF QUANTALABS PRIVATE LIMITED SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO QUANTALABS FOR ACCESS TO THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 1,000 (INDIAN RUPEES ONE THOUSAND).
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
